She's been on cloud 9 ever since getting hugs from you. We all had to get up the next day early for work and it was pretty tough. CommentsLove you guys! I first heard about you on VH-1. The minute I saw the program I knew that I had to find out more. I started telling my friends about you and then one of them found the soundtrack for "Six String Samurai". He bought it for me and I took a listen. Fuckin' great!!! I fell in love imediately. I then got "...Bellydance" and actually got to see "Six String...". I've played both CDs for everyone and I'm spreading the word. More people should know about your huge sound! I've yet to see a show. I missed one in NY by a day... and didn't hear about one in Nashville, TN until after you played. What luck... I'm moving to NY soon, but will miss your show in August. I'm screwed! The rock-n'-roll gods are not being very kind to me. Sometimes you just have to wait for a really good thing! Hope to see a show soon. I really enjoy the range of music styles that you cover. No mater which style, you make it your own. Like to hear you do Louis Prima's song "Sing, Sing,Sing". There is a killer version on Benny Goodman Live at Carnagie Hall , December 1937, Gene Krupa on the drums. You guys are up for it. Is there any music that I've missed? I've gotten "Better than Sex", "Surfin Siberia", two versions of "I Want To See You Bellydance". Any thing on the horizon? Love the music keep it comming.

CommentsHi Guy, I had the brief opportunity to speak with you and Igor @ Moondog's Pub in Pittsburgh, Pa back in July. Judging by the reception the Red Elvises received, I would say that you guys are now Moondogs "favorite band". Hopefully Ron will book the Red Elvises again on future occasion. The show reminded me of the wedding scene in "The Deerhunter". Everybody had a great time. I don't know whether you noticed or not but Pittsburgh has a large east European population. I think that is why you had such an enthusiastic audience. I have been working in Burbank since January and will probably transfer to sunny California from the 'burgh so I will catch you guys again sometime at Rusty's. I caught a show at Rusty's back in Feb or March? When I returned home and to "Moondog's" I told Mary (one of the barmaids) about the band and that Ron should book you guys. I was surprised to find out that he did. Come back again, word has definitely spread since you last performed there. Just as a parting note; I am basically a blues person but I think the "Red Elvises" are the one of the most original bands (without being too gimicky) I have seen in a long time. I now have that cd and I think it's awesome. As soon as I save up some dough I'll get all your other ones too. Which album is your personal favorite? I'll get that one next. I have a question though. I know you guys are coming to Tacoma on March 2nd and Seattle on March 4th. Are either of those gigs at all ages clubs or are they at bars? Recently received the live 2 cd set from The Great American Music Hall...it's terrific...and am anxiously waiting for the next new release...On Saturday, Zhenya asked for suggestions for the name of the next cd...mine was "Too many miles from Red Square." CommentsYou are the coolest! I wish I was 0.1 times as cool as you! I am such a fan. The first time I heard you guys was in 1997 on a radio show called Local Licks. I had it full blast in the workshop, and I went to make a poop. Just then, I heard the fire alarm go off, so I wiped quickly, and investigated. The fire dept. was already there, and we had to come back to the shop for some paperwork, and you guys were blasting away with a vicious surf tune. The firefighters thought I was a little goofy, but the hell with 'em, anyway. I was rockin' to some smokin' tunes! Thank you. P.S. Rocket Man is my official theme song now. I got a job designing jets for General Electric.
